One of the central attractions was this life-like “Gypsy Grandma” that comes to life after depositing a coin into slot. She moves, she breathes, she answers questions, she tells fortunes. As stated in the Genco flyer, “Grandma lifts fortune card with life-like fingers and waves.” Almost human. Rare pedestal stand model with original paper manufacturer tags and original fortune cards. In good working condition with nice canopy. Manufactured around 1956-1957. 77.5″h with lock and keys.
Original fortune tellers do not show up for sale very often. This is a fascinating electro-mechanical fortune teller.
